The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance is among the absolute greatest celebrations of automotive art, history, culture, and hedonism. This was my second year in attendance, the 25th Anniversary for the event, and it will go down as one of my life's greatest memories. It was made all the better by the countless numbers of old & new friends that rallied together from all over to share these experiences, and I was especially excited for those who were attending for the first time.
I often describe Amelia Concours as a sensory overload - at any given moment, and at every turn, something amazing or interesting or beautiful or bizarre is taking place, and it's almost too much to take in even for the keenest and most hardcore gearheads. While there were a few sights I may have missed out on, I came away from this weekend wanting for nothing more. Many of these cars deserve their own albums, but I don't have the patience for that yet.
